Hello, i apologize for any bad wording as i'm quite tired as i write this; I'd like to obtain any information on the use of captured/purchased seacraft within the Kriegsmarine between the opening of 1938 to 1945 as other sites seem to have plainly horrible information on this topic. My interest mostly lays with Italian ships after the armstice.
I apologize (again) if this has been asked here previously, or if i have asked with too many words.

Comandanti Medaglie d'Oro-class destroyer - My favourite ship type.
The ships were to be significantly larger than the previous Italian destroyers in use.

You need to click on the various sub-classes and scroll down.
The main vessels captured and used by the KM from the RM, were Destroyer escorts/torpedo boats.
