November 13, 1918 Istanbul
As part of the Allied occupation force, the cruiser Nisshin and five destroyers arrived and landed shore parties. Can anyone identify which destroyers were involved. They would have been from the 2nd Special Service Squadron. Many thanks in advance.

Many thanks fontessa;---My source was a 100 year history of Turkish-Japanese Relations written by a Turk. Sorry for my ignorance---do you know where Talant is? Finally does the War Diary tell us anything about the four Japanese manned ships of the British--the destroyers Kanran and Sendan and the two trawlers? These four were turned over to Japan in mid to late 1917---but as not part of the Japanese built destroyers --sort of fall out of discussion. Again many thanks and stay safe.

Re: November 13, 1918 Istanbul
Thank you Fontessa: in re Kanran etc. Are the dates in the diary the day they were returned to the British? or received from? Yours is the most precise data I have seen. I have the English names of the trawlers--but would have to look it up. Again many thanks.

Thank you Fontesssa; and thanks for the update on the renumbering of Destroyer Divisions. Picked up Momo's change as it showed up at Hong Kong in late June as DesDiv 24.
