askropp, right!

Five Cartridges (E) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Cartridges
Fünf Patronenhülsen (G) https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/F%C3%BCnf ... %C3%BClsen

A very seríous "war drama" about the spanish civil war, excellent, a true classic DEFA production from the year 1960.

Your turn...

Huh? Never heard of that. I just looked it up, and it's in black & white!

Story correct so far. Japanese production from the early 50s, directed by an austro-american director. Recently we had a movie from this director in the quiz.

Oha..!

References to more movie-riddles will be very difficult in the near future, ignoring the G/E "Wikipedia" for example.
As stated before, the Wikipedia is no reliable source, and we have to accept this.

Original still shots from movies not in my personal collection, a handful of old posters, but for sure not enough
material for the the next riddle here in the AHF, sorry. :cry:

Hans1906

P.S. I wanted to post something about the infamous so-called "Mühlviertler Hasenjagd", probably not known to most
readers outside of Austria, and Germany.
But the very best links to the former mass kills, AND the movie, they are in the Wikipedia, sorry.

* The next riddle, please..?
The paradise of the successful lends itself perfectly to a hell for the unsuccessful. (Bertold Brecht on Hollywood)
