I accidentally found some information on the Bulgarian internet. Is it true that Josef Kramer's wife had a human leather bag and was proud of it?
I also read that she was attacked with a knife by a former prisoner after the war.
Why aren't the wives of commandants sued for possessing such things made of human skin? And how did they allow her to work as a teacher afterwards?
With such parents, I don't want to imagine what their children were like.
Is this true?
Re: Is this true?
You can't make a bag from human skin.
Re: Is this true?
Even "reinforced" dead skin would quickly succumb to wear and tear and the elements.
Re: Is this true?
Every leather wears with timer. If during II world war shoes were made of fish leather the human skin for bags would be much more durable. Additionally, human skin should be considered luxurious, in such a case, delicate structures would be advantageos
