Nice picture of General der Infanterie Ferdinand von Quast, commanding 6. Armee with his chief of staff Oberstleutnant Hermann Ritter von Lenz.

The only photo, I am able to share from the private collection, is a photo of Otto Quirin Lancelle, taken by my grandfather.

The photo was taken on the occasion of a so-called "Reichsparteitag" in the city of Nürnberg.
Scan of the photo is not very good, I will add a better scan later, sorry.

Gerne, kein Problem.

Unfortunately, I digitized the photo decades ago on what was then a not very good flatbed scanner.
Time for a much better scan in higher resolution...

Regarding #591 on page 40:
I would take a stab at Major (E) Harry von Müller

I can now confirm that this is indeed Müller, an Ehrenritter des Johanniterordens.

Morning,

I am afraid that would not be possible. This is a pre World War one portrait of a (most likely) infantry major. Harry von Müller was a Leutnant (18.8.06 K2k) in Dragoner-Regiment Nr. 7 in 1914 and finished the war as a Rittmeister. He was awarded the Johanniter Orden in 1919.

Glenn, this must be a mistake. Both pics (#588 and #655) show Müller as a Wehrmacht officer.

Albert

Albert,

my apologies, I mistakenly thought it was a reference to #654.
