Aren't adding pics to guess at in the wrong thread with this one?

The soldier on picture, it's the target of the quote....that we are looking for, and is better don't give his name.

Ok, it should be Private Fed Hitch, B co., 2nd Btn, 24th Foot played by David Kernan.

The quotes I can think of are:

I wonder about the name of WWII movie which I watch on TV maybe 10-15 years before. I need to find this movie for only a scene actually. And I remember only details about this scene.

There is a party and there are a few German soldiers (maybe a few civilians too) on the balcony and drinking. Meanwhile appears some explosions in dark. It's obviously artillery fires of the opposing forces on the near town. It's close to the end of the war. But Germans seem not disturbed and watching these explosions.

Could you guess the name of this movie?

Yep, that's it, in all its B&W practical effects glory.

Good quote, though. And focused (more or less) on the Navy in a general sense, as opposed to the fast carriers, submarines, etc.
