Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
The general marked with (x) is in quite a bit of pictures with ROMMEL inspecting the Atlantikwall.
His face sounds very familiar to me but I´m not able to name it. Any clues?
Cheers.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Thank you very much for your help. The general with ROMMEL it is obvious that had to be Ernst GERKE but i had completely missed it.
The other general in Norway has to be Wilhelm RUSSWURM, commander of the 274ID, based in the area of Stavanger at the time the pìcture was taken, 1943.
Thanks again

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
The attached picture was auctioned in ebay sometime ago. Obviously the seller wanted to prevent the copy of it; but it made impossible the identification of the general. It is a pity because it shows a nice portrait.
I have been wondering whether any Forum member had it and could share it.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
Hello!
I'm having a few doubts with these photo!
I'm thinking of von Brauchitsch and Von Richenau! Can anyone confirm?
Thanks a lot!
