Looting of Catholic churches in Berlin during book-burnings in 1933
It's well-known that Positive Christianity entailed rejecting all Jewish-written parts of the Bible (including the Old Testament) and eliminating Catholicism, but in a number of scenes in the Disney propaganda film Education for Death, a Bible is removed from a Roman Catholic Church in Berlin during the 1933 book-burning campaign and replaced by a copy of Mein Kampf, while a crucifix is taken down and replaced by a Nazi sword even as the Stormtroopers attack the church. Were there any copies of the Bible containing the Old Testament that were confiscated from Roman Catholic churches in Berlin and burned to smithereens? If so, how many copies of the Old Testament were thrown into the bonfires where the Germans burned "un-German" books? Also, is there any record of crucifixes at Roman Catholic churches in Berlin being taken down and replaced by Nazi swords because they depicted Jesus as a Jew and not a Nordic warrior?

Is it possible that when Roman Catholic churches in Warsaw and other Polish cities were ransacked by the Nazis, copies of the Old Testament were removed from the churches and replaced by copies of Mein Kampf and crucifixes depicting Jesus as a Jew and not a Nordic warrior taken down and replaced by Nazi swords?

Hi cantankerous,
In think it highly unlikely that this ever happened. In 1933 a third of the Reich population were Catholics and so many of the Germans in the territories annexed over 1933-40 were Catholics that by the latter year almost half the population of the Reich was Catholic. This was to important a community to be unnecessarily alienated.
In 1933 the passivity of the main Catholic party had allowed Hitler to expel Communists from the Reichstag and pass the Enabling Act that cemented his dictatorship. In mid-1933 Nazi Germany's first bilateral, government-to-government, treaty was the Reichskonkordat with the Vatican City State. This regulated relations between the the state and church in Germany
Although the Nazis continued to attack the Catholic Church, to the point that the Pope issued a public rebuke, I doubt that anything as crude as you describe ever happened.
Cheers,
Sid.
