All types - it was just a steel airtight container for a single round.

So far I had only seen the most common wicker and wood container for 3 projectiles....and I thought these individual containers were for some specific type of ammunition....

These are 8,8 cm Patronenbüchse 31, airtight containers, the lids have been removed for easy acces.
These have a typical navy design that was used in other calibers as well, 8,8 cm S.K> C/35, 10,5 cm S.K. C/32 and 12,7 cm S.K. C/34 for instance.
The inner sheet metal supports were spotted welded in place and as result this was not a "one size fits all" container, the HE and AP rounds were stored in the same container type, but the flare and exersize rounds were stored in a different type, the difference was stamped into on of the metal hooks that held the lid.
These containers were made in aluminium, steel and zink.
I think the light coloured ones in the picture are aluminium, the darker one steel.

What is interesting is the painted ring on some of the containers, this was normally found on an older type of container (8,8 cm Patronenbüchse L45), but that's clearly not the case here.

Yers, either 400 or 370 mm APHE.
I can't fully read the weight of the first shell, looks like 896 kg, which would mean it's a 400 mm.

By the cases I would say leFH 18 as the ones from K 18 are much longer.
