Evacuation of the Nikopol bridgehead, which divisions was evacuated? 3rd Gebirgs Division and 302nd Infanterie Division? Or 3rd Gebirgs Division, 302nd Infanterie Division and 17th Infanterie Division?

the whole bridgehead was evacuated. I'd think the specific units would be irrelevant.....

You mentioned only divisions from IV.AK (you left out 111.ID and parts of 258.ID).
But there was also XXIX.AK in the bridgehead?

the 24th Panzer Division was also present in the bridgehead (though I think it was pulled out in December-January ish).

Yes, but which units remained at the bridgehead on 2 February?
Hinze says only about evacuation
3rd G.Div and 302nd Div. (3rd G.Div. first, 302nd, second)

No units remained on or past February 2nd 1944. Or they were completing the final stages of the evacuation. Either way, by that day no significant forces remained in the Nikopol Bridgehead.

Thank you. Which book(books?) will give me the best and more complex information about the Nikopol bridgehead(Nikopol-Krivoy Rog Operation)?

I don't know of any books that give significant amounts of info. That being said, I know Earl Ziemke's Stalingrad to Berlin: The German Defeat In The East has some info. A good memoir is Gunter Koshorrek's Blood Red Snow, he was am MG gunner in the 24th Panzer Division at the time.

My translation of Counter-Strike Operations by F. M. von Senger und Etterlin will be published by Casemate later this year, and portions of it deal with the operations of the 24th Panzer Division in the Nikopol bridgehead.
