The badge maybe an unmarked Steinhauer & Lück.
But this award was never delivered in a presentation case.

Greetings Mark,

please take your time, to look at this excellent website: (English/French/German/Russian)
Herr Jörg Paßmann from Gelsenkirchen/Germany constructed a very informative website about the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen.

https://www.infantry-assault-badge.com

Weekend greetings! :milwink:

Hans

P.S.
But this award was never delivered in a presentation case.
That's right, the award was pinned, and was in a so-called "Verleihungstüte" before the awarding ceremony.
Exceptions, as always, of course, possible.

The box is a typical fantasy product, typical nonsense to make a mass awarded German award interesting.

Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen

"Verleihungstüte": https://www.google.com/search?q=Infante ... 00&bih=759

"Tüte" is difficult to translate, a small envelope made of paper, which was given to the soldier with the award inside.

Hans

* By the way, a well-preserved "Verleihungstüte" , can be more valuable these days than the actual award. :wink:
Produced in very poor paper quality at the time, and accordingly, expensive in good condition.

Agree with your assessment about paper packaging worth more now, that is sometimes true.I knew the box was fantasy but had to make sure via AHF members who know whats up, thanks Hans.....
