Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi, maybe someone know the car used by Hitler in this pic, taken in 1923?

I think that the half-tracked vehicle in the lower picture is a member of the Citroën-Kegresse family. These vehicles were used in the 1920s and '30s to mount expeditions across the Sahara and, I believe, the Gobi deserts; the French Army made much use of heavier versions of them as wartime gun tractors.
Several models existed; I'm not sure which particular model is captured in your image.
I hope this helps.

Than you for Id. Any idea about truck in upper photo? Could they be Opel or any other German or Czech made trucks?

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Dirk
your picture above does not depict a Nashorn.
It is a self-propelled 7,5 cm Pak on a Pz II chassis.
The designation is
7,5 cm Pak 40/2 auf Fgst PzKpfw II (Sf) (SdKfz 131) Marder II
If you need other pictures, I can post some.
Regards
Armin

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi uncle, Kerry.
I'm not sure either, but under close scrutiny I don't think so. The FN has front hinged doors for one difference. Here is a photo of an FN 63 C and a comparison.

Hi Dirk,
pic 2: that could be an Opel "Blitz" bus like on the pic.
pic 3: that could be a field kitchen Hf. 13 like on the pic, but without the chimney.
Best regards
Bert

Re: Vehicle identity requests
HI Max and Uncle,
Thank you for the suggestions and help, I will continue to look for the vehicle, but, for now, it remains a mystery. At least I now know which avenues do not need to be followed.
All the best,
Kerry.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Nemmexe,
I'm afraid that I'm unable to help with the identification of the vehicles in the first image; I've tried hard but I can't make out any details which might give me a clue.
Rob.
