Hi Sturm 78,

sorry, I forgot to give an answer to Your question about the Mercedes-Benz type G 3 a (22nd December). For me it is a Kfz. 61 radio motor vehicle (Funkkraftwagen), because there are to see some parts of the radio mast on the left side of the rear of this vehicle.

Now to Your last question about the Einheitsdiesel:
I think it could be also one of the different subvariants of the Kfz. 62 types as we were discussing with the Mercedes-Benz type G 3 a. It could be a Lichtauswertekraftwagen (flash-light analysing motor vehicle) or a Wetterkraftwagen (weather motor vehicle), a Vermessungsauswertekraftwagen (surveying evaluation motor vehicle) or a Schallaufnahmekraftwagen (sound recording motor vehicle) , but not a Druckereikraftwagen (print shop motor vehicle), a Stabsauswertekraftwagen (staff analysing motor vehicle) or a Schallauswertewagen (sound analysing motor vehicle), because these vehicles have another superstructure or no fittings for the extensions for the rod pieces according to the information in the booklet Nuts & Bolts volume 42 "Einheitsdiesel" by Holger Erdmann.

Best regards

Bert
