There were a lot of floral patterns in women's dresses as well as plain patterns and stripes.

Kirsten Eckermann was a girl from the Berlin BDM, where she joined since 1933. Throughout her life in the organization she participated in propaganda campaigns and appeared in magazines, after the BDM she was in the RADwJ, she survived the battle of Berlin and she rebuilt her life, she died around 2006, she did not write memoirs but she did give several interviews to Tim Heath about her experience as a woman in the Reich.

I don´t know who is the other girl.

A few cover photos of the german illustrated magazine Hamburger Illustrierte (Wochenzeitschrift) at that time were printed in color.
Nr. 16/1939, 50th birthday of Adolf Hitler. https://www.deutsche-digitale-bibliothe ... JDIX73MIM4
The above photo was published Easter 1940, one of the very few cover photos printed in color.
(The photo attached here is digitally cropped, and likewise reduced in file size.)

Inscription under the photo:
Deutschland, unserer Kinder Land,
Halt es , Herr, in starker Hand!
Laß, was wachsen will, gedeihn,
Laß es deutschen Frühling sein!
Translation:
Germany, the land of our children,
Hold it, Lord, in a strong hand!
Let what wants to grow, prosper,
Let it be German spring!
L.
P.S. The author of the quatrain at that time is unfortunately not known to me personally so far, maybe someone of you here in the forum recognizes this text?
