Yesterday, a new folder was added (HGr. SU). Today, I am getting a 502 Bad Gateway.

At last. They loaded the files on their site 4 years ago - that's when I got them-, but only put the links yesterday.

which Findbuch you are referring to? Assuming with "folder" you are referring to a "Findbuch", cause I can only find 2 Findbücher for Heeresgruppe Süd and both have far more than 38/39 documents (Akten) in them.

For a couple of days a Findbuch number 12486 was present, Karteikarten der Aufklärungsverwaltung der Roten Armee zu Einheiten der Wehrmacht und ihrer Verbündeten, with 709 Akten, in the few ones I opened I found only documnts in Russian.
All the best

I was refering to the total number of folders present on that website. There were 39 folders for a short period of time.

Is it known whether there are folders that remain to be uploaded? There are several gaps in the numerical series (inventory numbers go from 12450 to 12530, but there are only 43 folders), but I don't know how meaningful that is.

There should have been several updates already, but somehow this is not happening.

I'm guessing that Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the consequent sanctions and countermeasures, such as blocking the Goethe Institute's bank accounts, make it much harder to run this project.
The enemy had superiority in numbers, his tanks were more heavily armoured, they had larger calibre guns with nearly twice the effective range of ours, and their telescopes were superior. 5 RTR 19/11/41

is it possible to download high resolution versions of some of these files ? For example, FB 12451 Akte 423 (OKH artillery October 1944), file 6 has an artillery Lage for 15 Army and 1 FJ army (a few MB). However no matter what I try the dowloaded file is too low resolution to read the fine print. I am able to zoom in on small sections, but it only downloads the small portion you can see.

thanks,

Mad Dog
