My next 2 Uboat dioramas

Post by Brokeneagle63 » 15 Apr 2022 14:47

My next 2 1/72 scale dioramas that I am planning - both 1945, one in Ireland at Lisahally woith 3 uboats beside a dock - U293, U802 & U826. The other one in a dry dock in Germany with U1227 and U2516.
I have the kits, I have the update sets, I have the will........lets hope thats enough.

I have also added a photo of a previous German 7C/41 diorama - the last patrol 1945.

Actually i have a third diorama that is under way and will be before these......
The capture of U505 has always fascinated me and the classic photos grabbed my imagination for modelling, especially the famous shot of the US navy guys trying to save the sub from sinking - very dramatic.
