Thank! When I open the parts documents tab, enter the stock number, I get the answer - Due to high load, the portal is temporarily unavailable.

When they have traffic overload (usually on May holidays or after them) they cut off foreign traffic.
You can either try to use Russian VPN, or wait for some days when traffic loading will return back to normal figures.

You can't search for German units there. Pamyat naroda contains Russian unit documents. You can't search inside their texts, because they aren't OCR
You need to use https://wwii.germandocsinrussia.org/de/nodes/1-fond-500 site for German units documents.

Yes, but maybe the Russian documents mention the unit. Don't find much luck either on WWIIGermanDocsInRussia. Thanks already.

Maybe, but IMHO very low possibility. Typically Russian operative documents never use original designation of German units.
You can study documents of units opposing your one. Probably it's mentioned in some another way in Russian transcription. But again, very low possibility. So, you may only guess...

I would also be surprised if Soviet documents mentioned the unit by name. The best you could hope for is maybe a mention of vehicle type in the general area of the unit. Contrary to popular belief, the Soviets didn't yell "Tiger" at every encounter with German tanks. For example, in the records of the 3rd Ukrainian Front, I have found one mention of "Tigers" and two mentions of "Ferdinands". The "Tiger" mentioned matches up with the 506 Tiger Battalion Records and the "Ferdinand" with sPzJgAbt 653.

Wolfgang, when I was looking for scare data on s.SS.Pz.Abt.503 during operations under AOK 2 around Gdansk area, I have started by reviewing data Soviet armies operational diaries and maps to pinpoint which Soviet unit could engaged the German unit. And then I went lower and lower in hierarchy from army to corps to division to regiment to battalion. As mentioned, I was looking for key word 'Tiger' or 'King Tiger'. You need also plenty of criticism, because Germans fields unlimited numbers of 'Tiger' and 'Ferdinands'
Star with operational diaries and then you may check some summaries and intelligence reports - depending on quality, sometimes you may find great additional data.

Dear Sirs

I have a question. After the latest Windows 11 update I do not get any results after a query in any section of the pamyat naroda website. Is this a normal thing? On other appliances (eg Tablet/phone )with windows 10 everything works fine. I onlyget a large whit rectangle which apparently hides the results. When I try to print the page I can see the results of the query, so the white rectangle hides the results.

What should I do to get to see the results????

Thanks in advance

Nico
