Re: Request for Identification of Generals and Admirals
I would doubt on Bacher. He was Höherer Pionierführer Generalgouvernement in July 1944. I have no hint that he would have been on the Cassino front. But maybe anyone has?

Who is this with Hitler?
Hello everyone,
I have been searching a while to identify who is with Hitler on this photo. Google search says it's Paul von Hindenburg but I'm quite sure this is not him (pic looks like it's taken around 1937), anyone would have any info?
Many thanks,

Definately not Hindenburg.
Hitler looks like he wants to leave.

Alfred Krauß.
(Österreicher sollten ihn kennen, Kollege Ostland!)
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.
