That doesn't make alot of sense. Belgian ammunition is chambered in 7.65mm, not the standard Wehrmacht 7.92, but you don't want to shoot ammo of one caliber in a weapon that's designed to chamber something different. Greek 7.92 ammo works fine in K98k rifles, no issues.
The Kennblatter fremden Gerats is very clear on caliber of weapons and miscellaneous characteristics, so anyone trying to shoot non-compatible calibers would be operating well outside of policy, training and sense.

The operator of that MG appears to be Asian. Former Soviet POW? I don't see any insignia indicating that.
