Sorry but not Barry Lyndon.
Hint: the soundtrack is fantastic!

When you think about classic movie soundtracks, it obviously had to be one of the following:

Barry
Williams
Horner
Morricone
Zimmer

😉

Attrition: sorry but no :?
OpanaPointer: you should have crossed the bridge much earlier
Tamari: on the right track in a sense but not mohicans
VanillaNuns: drop the vanilla and stick to the nuns (masculine) 8-)
And the composers… 1 right - 4 wrong (and there’s a correct answer in my cryptic answer) :D

New cropped image might help (the too obvious left out)

That’s the one! The music is not only used as a soundtrack but also part of the movie. The Guaraní learn and play european music with the help of the jesuit priest. In my opinion a very touching movie.
Here’s the obvious uncropped image from earlier

A Quite good film

"The Lighthorseman"

One of those 80's Australian films Like Gallipoli and the series "ANZACS"

Good morning,

sorry it is not "Battle of the Bulge", it is also not "The Lighthorsemen", which is indeed a good movie, but the period is correct.

Is that General Jan Smuts in the first picture? Young Indiana Jones and the Phantom Train of Doom?
