Re: Help Id these heavy coastal guns
Hi Sturm, it is 15cm Küstenkakone L/40, produced by Škoda. I have seen the last preserved pieces this year at Brioni Minor (Pola)

Re: Help Id these heavy coastal guns
Hello,
here a new one. On the backside of the foto is written "Unser Geschütz" (our gun). So it should be a german one.
Any ideas?

Re: Help Id these heavy coastal guns
Thank you Sturm. So presumably the Flanders Batterie Tirpitz was strictly a WW1 battery?Sturm78 wrote: ↑20 Dec 2022, 16:14Thank you very much for your help, OndrejOndrej Filip wrote

I have two more ex-Ebay pictures of that battery, maybe it helps...
Re: Help Id these heavy coastal guns
Thank-you. I think this battery was destroyed by the retreating Germans at the end of WW1.

Thank you, ludvig. I guess 15cm SK L55 = 15cm SK C28....ludvig wrote

On the other hand, why to use with this gun a old 17 cm M.P.L.C/1902.04 mount instead a modern Küst. MPL C/36 ??
Do you know the batterie ?

The picture from Topic 941 is made at Swinemunde/Świnoujście you see the typical lighthouse, maybe a part of the Marine-Artillerie-Schule I
