From Wikipedia? Really?

There is no "Ford" or even "Henry" in Mein Kampf.
[82] leads to the 1941 Mein Kampf:
These reflections are copied, for the most part, from the Dearborn Independent, Mr. Henry Ford's newspaper. Much of the anti-Semitic propaganda once disseminated by this journal is still current in Germany.
He sees the contemporary European States already as powerless tools in his hand, whether through the indirect means of so-called Western Democracy, or in the form of direct rule through Russian bolshevism. Yet it is not only the old world which he regards as thus ensnared, but the same fate threatens the new, also. Jews are the regents of the stock exchange power of the American Union. Every year they manage to become increasingly the controlling masters of the labor power of a people of 120,000,000 souls; one great man, Ford, to their exasperation still holds out independently there even now.
As can be seen, it's from the (hostile) commentary, not from the text.

[81] leads to The Business of Genocide by Michael Thad Allen, and then to Heinrich Himmler als Ideologe by Josef Ackermann - an obscure book written by an even more obscure author.
[83][78] - worthless newspaper articles.
[84] - is The People's Tycoon by Steven Watts where no source is given.

Socialists such as Vladimir Lenin admired Ford as one of the major contributors to twentieth-century revolution, and it was not unusual to see portraits of Ford and Lenin hanging side by side in Soviet factories.
Yet Adolf Hitler also revered Ford. He proclaimed, “I shall do my best to put his theories into practice in Germany,” and modeled the Volkswagen, the people's car, on the Model T.
The People's Tycoon by Steven Watts
If Ford was pro-Nazi, why did he help to create the automotive industry (and the tractor industry) in Stalinist Russia?
Money and self interest.

Approximately 85-90% of nations at the UN condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine, but almost all are still happy to trade with them. Many on more favourable terms than before.

Same with Trump. A good share of those who criticize him most are quite happy to stay at his hotels and play on his golf courses.

Although Ford was filthy rich already.
Motivated by money Ford wouldn't finance the Nazis because there was no money in it.
Motivated by ideology Ford wouldn't finance the "Judeo-Bolshevist regime."

So far, we don't even know that the interview with Hitler ever happened.
"Detroit News" isn't available online, but I've searched for "Hitler Ford "Detroit News"" on newspapers.com (and its claimed archive of ~16000 newspapers) hoping some of them mentioned the interview but there was nothing.
According to several secondary sources AH was interviewed by Annetta Halliday Antona, longtime columnist for the Detroit News, on the December 28th, 1931. Published in Detroit News on the Dec. 31st in her column: Five minutes with men in public eye, under title: Adolf Hitler, the man without a country.

That's interesting.
Although it makes the story even more absurd.
A longtime columnist - that's true; she must have been 60+ at that time.
A columnist and short story writer (in the vein of "Captives of Cupid").
Was that even possible for Hitler to give an interview to a seriously obscure (non-political) writer for a provincial newspaper?
Wasn't Hitler especially shy about giving interviews anyway?

And this you don't see every day:

The "man without a country" interview was given to members of the British and American press, so we have a clear case of stolen valor here. From The Buffalo News (05 Dec 1931):

According to The New York Times, the interview happened on Dec. 4.
It was given to a gathering of foreign correspondents while Hitler was rushing through Berlin for a meeting with his local adjutants.

On December 20, Hitler gave a (long) interview to the NYT itself:

And on December 23, this happened:

It means that the claimed interview with Annetta Halliday Antona was given when he was still suffering from the injury.

Another one:
As the Nazis began purging German institutions of Jews in the summer of 1937, a New York Times reporter visited Adolf Hitler in his private office in Munich. To the reporter's amazement, a life-sized portrait of Henry Ford hung alongside Hitler's desk.

On a nearby table rested a pile of anti-Semitic material - all of it translated from the Dearborn Independent, Henry Ford's personal newspaper. Years later still another reporter discovered a further reason why Hitler admired Henry Ford - several passages from Mein Kampf were almost verbatim quotes from a treatise on the 'Zionist plot' published by Henry Ford's private publishing company.

From "Henry Ford and the Jews: the mass production of hate" by Neil Baldwin.
Volume Two of Mein Kampf, The National Socialist Movement, is also noteworthy for its tribute to "only a single great man, Ford, [who], to [the Jews'] fury, still maintains full independence ... [from] the controlling masters of the producers in a nation of one hundred and twenty millions."
It's supposedly from page 639, but the German edition is only 462 pages long, and there is no "Ford" there either.

Cavalry has come to the rescue again. This pale face in distress is grateful.

So the source was a rumor published by "The Berliner Tageblatt," a liberal German newspaper, particularly critical and hostile to the Nazis.

According to the rumor, Ford substantially financed the Nazi movement.
And that, in fact, wasn't true.
This makes the "large picture" and the antechamber with "a large table covered with books, nearly all of which are a translation of a book written and published by Henry Ford" unproven and basically false.

Btw is it true that in 1922 Hitler enjoyed:
spacious headquarters in Munich ... splendidly furnished, and his organization employs a host of highly paid lieutenants and officials.
and
two powerful, brand-new autos.
The article:

An early headquarters building had been opened in 1920 in a modest building on the Sternacker-Brau in Munich.
From 1922 to the breakup of the party on November 11, 1923, after the Beer-Hall Putsch, Hitler and the Nazis used a small building at Corneliusstrasse 12 for meetings.
Encyclopedia of the Third Reich by Louis Snyder

According to a reporter for the Danish newspaper “Århus Stiftstidende”:
It is a dirty place on Corneliusstrasse, with bright red posters on the walls announcing that the National Socialists live here.
The hall is filled with young people. Apparently it's a department of Hitler's bodyguards who have 'Jour' (roughly: 'service', ed.). All wear a swastika - the sign of their anti-Semitic sentiments. The young people play with nightsticks and revolvers; they almost seem embarrassed to waste their time.
On the wall copies of promissory notes that the National Socialists issue for their party coffers.
So the "spacious headquarters in Munich ... splendidly furnished" was a former restaurant in a small dirty building.

So the source was a rumor published by "The Berliner Tageblatt"
It seems they partially succeeded in their request for "US Ambassador to investigate".

On March 17th, 1923, American Vice-Consul in Munich - Robert Murphy meets with AH "to clarify whether the many reports in the press that Henry Ford supports the NSDAP and their anti-Semitic struggle are correct".
AH responds with short and clear: NEIN.

Three years later - polemics about Ford not in newspaper, but from official document.
A fragment of Munich police report Nr.535:

On the March 30th 1926 a closed door meeting of NSDAP members from Neuhausen started at 20:30 in pub "Deutsche Eiche". AH was mostly dubunking claims made by a communist Sellmeier? at the recent, open to public, NSDAP meeting on the 26th with Julius Streicher in the presence of Hitler.
It was not correct, as Sellmeier claimed, that Stinnes and Ford belong to or were close to the NSDAP. Stinnes has nothing to do with the NSDAP. Ford owns one of the largest car factories in America, where workers enjoy good conditions.
If Sellmeier maintains that modern technology is creating more and more unemployed people, it should be taken into account that inventions also create work again. If the communist Sellmeier believes that everything is fine in Russia, our only advice would be to go there and stay there. The workers at Ford's car factory in America, if they heard him, would surely call Sellmeier a fool.
No way in this case, Russia is offering its workers what Ford's workers are being offered.
The further explanations of Hitler, which are more closely related to the working conditions of the workers at the Ford plants, were insignificant and complete apolitical.

That's interesting, although understandable, because powerful people were involved.
Strangely it was a day after the political Supreme Court Leipzig dissolved the Nazi party.

It seems that Erhard Auer, a socialist revolutionary, "who tried to strongly oppose the rise of the fledging Nazis," was the source of the allegations.
It was weeks after the article in the Berliner Tageblatt, but "the Bavarian Diet has long had information that the Hitler movement was partially financed by ... Henry Ford."

Hitler responded with a libel suit against Stephen Grossmann, "the radical editor of the Berlin pink weekly."
