Hello,

Well, that's a very interesting thread both for culture and study of the Japanese uniforms, gears and even situation ... i'm only at page 10 for now ... but i'll check all the pages for sure :D

I can participate a bit maybe, here a photo of my collection that came from an album of a soldier who was in the 7th brigade of the 7th division of Teizo Ishiguro Major-General commanding the brigade.

This photo probably taken in China (the brigade was in China at this time) show a nice theater scene, this picture was taken in 1939, note all the flags French, American, Nazi Germany ...

Any idea who the pilot is? Also, the fuselage color & tail markings are both very light, the tail markings almost disappear into the background... I know there is much discussion as to what colors the early Zeros were actually painted and how that paint faded throughout the war.
