Thank you Ivan
You're welcome. By the way, if you take a look at the various photos of Feierlein and Grimminger that I compiled here, you'll notice that only two persons appear on Grimminger's other side (when with Feierlein) - either a dark-haired guy or a blonde one (both Blutorden holders).

And judging by the visible features, your remaining unidentified officer appears to be the blonde guy. Does anyone recognise him?

Of course, this is only a possibility, based on the assumption that only those two persons accompanied Grimminger in combination with Feierlein.

Note: I've actually prepared comparison files, but my attachment quota has been reached, so I can't attach anything. Hence all the linking.

The file-attaching seems to be working again.

Anyhow, these are the two men seen in 1936-1938 pictures guarding the Blutfahne with Grimminger and Feierlein. A number of other men guarded the flag with Grimminger, in various combinations, but these two were the only (or most commonly) ones pictured in combination with Feierlein.

A dark-haired guy:

A blonde guy:
guy2.jpg

Judging by the visible features, especially the philtrum length, the unidentified officer from the previous page could be the blonde guy.

Does anyone recognise those two SS officers and Blutorden holders?

Hello Mil- Archive

Just something I noticed the second officer from left has his arm in a sling so maybe the officers are on convalescent

Best regards
Georg

Hi Georg, yes I think so. There are no writings on the backs of these specific images.

These come from an photo album and loose image (400 x images total) collection of this man

viewtopic.php?p=2439611#p2439611

I am not able yet to fit these images here into the overall group in terms of which country/year. I thought it might have been a training event but this image here (related to the ones above) also shows a man with a walking stick so it could be a convalescent home alright.

Hi Georg,
unfortunately not, I suspect some of the stuck in images in the album may have relevant writings on the backs but haven't gotten that far yet.

Gerard

Thanks Michal, that's what I assumed. I think this is a super rare photo of SS-Gruf. Max Schneller.
Great find!
Best,

Andrey.
