unfort Pommer died before he got the KCSchuddie wrote: ↑04 Feb 2023, 12:13Thanks George & Hugo (I thought about Pommer too but I couldn't find an image of him and the last name looks different to me with these upward loops which indicates rather letters like 'l' or 'h'). It is for sure a wartime photo in brilliant quality with an old signature. I am a bit clueless

Re: Knight's Cross Holders Identification
Better scans of two still unidentified KC's - one with signature (?) on the reverse side and a nice studioportrait of Alfred Klingmann, obviously a KC recipient? Except the information that he was establishing and running a driving school (like 'Adi' Glunz) postwar I couldn't find anything about this guy. More information would be very much appreciated.
Thanks & KR

@ Schuddie
My guess your Luftwaffe Major in post 23106 and 23139 is the Flak officer Hans Eichmeier

Re: Knight's Cross Holders Identification
@Joerg, very reasonable guess especially in terms of age and most likely no flying personel, many thanks.

Klingmann woould have unofficially been awarded the RK as Hptm. and Fhr. of 11./GR114 on 06.05.1945.
