I definately think the picture in the middle is Harmel. As for the picture of Hiebsch that's at least what I've been told.

Best regards/ Daniel

Hello freiherr!

That's the future Eichenlaubträger Sturmbannführer Heinz Werner (Kdr. III.(SPW)/"Der Führer") and on Weidingers left - his adjutant Obersturmführer Georg Seegerer. The picture was taken during the final battles in Austria.

But I thought that was a Luftwaffe/FJ officer?

I guess he was just too tired every time fighting with his battalion to the last man ("bis zum letzten Man"), like for example in 1944 during the battles in Westwall, in Ardennes and at Heinrich Major, and decided to dress like a Fsj/Luftwaffe officer so he would only have to fight to the last bullet ("bis zur letzten Patrone") as was Luftwaffe's slogan in 1945, unlike Wehrmacht quoted above. :) :D

Cheers
