Hi Daniel
The first one seems to be HAns Georg Romeike. I would need to check that this evening to be definitively sure. The only doubt I have is that the unknow recipient is shown wearing a GAB while Romeike was awarded the KC as a member of a Gre.Rgt.
Anyway, Romeike is a holder of the TDB (1 kill) and I have a postcard (not swith me at the time, I am writing) which shows him with a NKS and a Felmütze a.A. like this unknown recipient.
Will keep you informed

Denis

Hi again
I have realized that Romeike is not credited for the DKiG. I will have to check this point also.
As foir the 2nd RKT : it's difficult. As far as I know, he is not listed in your TDB recipients' list. He looks like Aloys Assmann or Fritz Arndt. But this is just a gut feeling.

Denis

Hi Denis, thanks for trying to help out. It's really a mystery. You are correct in that none of them are on the list (atleast I don't think so). Assmann or Arndt seems probable, I would go for Assmann but I'm not quite sure since I haven't been able to find a good reference photo of Assmann and Arndt.

Best regards/ Daniel

Thanks Denis, if one compares their ears I think it must be Arndt.

Hi again Daniel
I am not sure about Arndt. As this latter one was awarded the Eichenlaub, it would be interesting to see a photos of him wearing the OL. He would consequently have to wear the TDB. Does anybody have such a photo to provide ?
Regards
Denis

PS Edit : BTW, the pic posted by Freiherr on page 3 of this very same thread is Albert Bausch (I believe that the pic name is albert_bauer_maybe). Here is info about him :

Hi Denis,

Only other picture of Arndt I can find. Arndt looked short and stocky in this picture! Not much use I am afraid. Also thanks for pointing out Bausch. I finally sorted that one out myself too.

Cheers

Hi Kocjo,

Your EL winner looks like GenLt Kurt Juergen Freiherr von Luetzow. Attached photos are from, respectively, the standard one on the web, VJK and Akira Takiguchi. Paal was the one who identified VJK's pic.
The left photo shows : Gustav Höhne - the other three show in fact Kurt-Jürgen Freiherr von Lützow / AHF id
Cheers
Freiherr
