This RKT was indentified as Oberwachmeister Günther Carsten also by Franz Kurowski. Yet http://www.das-ritterkreuz doesn't list him. Look very much like the Bremerhaven RKT that was captured by the British 21st army I posted on Page 18 of this thread. Could nayone tell me more?

Wrong! It was Hptm Erpo Graf von Kageneck, EL #39. JG 27. Nothing to do with StukaG 77.freiherr wrote:Purportedly a Eichenlaubträger from StukaG 77.
I think there were only 6:
Karl Henze, Helmut Bruck, Georg Jakob, Franz Kieslich, Alexander Glaeser and Gerhard Steudemann. Can anyone confirm that it was a young Glaeser? The RK looks pasted on.

Hi Denis,
Wick it was, with very little hair left! Thank you. Eichenlaubträger 4.
As to Günther CHRZONSZ, das-ritterkreuz.de said he was from StugAbt 277. I believe this unit fought mostly on the Eastern Front. He got his RK in 1943 so unless he was transferred to some Stug unit on the western front, there goes my theory that it was Chrzonsz.
