Freiherr

I think your RKT2 SG 77 is in fact Karl Kempf of JG54 (KIA with JG 26)

Look at the attached.

John

Long shot -- the DAK looking 55.jpeg looks like Georg Briel, FlakBtl 606.

Freiherr

The tall Oberst standing immediately to the right of Guderian (from our perspective) reminds me very much of Edgar Feuchtinger. His double ribbon bars, his EKI with spange and the other awards he wore near the EKI and just the peculiar way he stood. ( Remember all those inspection pics he had with Rommel jsut before D-day?) Feuchtinger was charged with the rebuilding of the 21st Pz Div in France and promoted to GenMj on 01.08.43. If this was Feuchtinger, then it was taken before 01.08.43. Guderian was of course Inspector of PzTroops

cheers
Freiherr
