Could anybody confirm if this is Obst Fritz Jäger?
Was he involved in the 20.7.44 plot?

I don't recognise the face but the signature doesn't look anything like Rossiwall. If anything, the name looks more like Hans Augenstein. I enclose photos of him and Rossiwall for comparison.

Thanks John. It's a post-war signed photo so not Augentstein (KIA). Anyone help more?

This was posted on E-bay. There are 25 pics but 24 names. It mentioned a Georg Person but I could only find a Joachim Persson. I tentatively associated 3 of the 4 unidentified with the remaining 3 names simply by age and rank. Could anyone confirm?

5 Haschberger, Max
6 Schneider, Erich
7 Pohl, Franz

Fangio,

“Unk RKT (Webshots).jpg” is Maximilian (Max) Burghartswieser, but he was KIA on 22 August 1942 in Russia so I don’t know if that’s really his signature. Maybe someone just penned his name on it for I.D. purposes.

Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross: 9 July 1941, Oberfeldwebel, Stoßtruppführer in the 7th Company of Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 100 (for action on Crete).

Best regards,
Shawn
