HiIan!

I think 209 could be "Kiesgen" Peter an 211 "Bopp" Alfred.

Can anyone say who this is? I had him recorded as Sixt von Arnim but there is no resemblance to other photos of that General. Is it perhaps Friedrich Sixt?

Hi John!

Your "Sixt von Arnim" is in fact Generaloberst Hans-Jürgen von Arnim.

Hello everybody,

kust a question concerning the four offices in black. Why do they have Luftwaffen officers caps, a black panzer tuniqua with a Luftwaffen breast eagle on them?

That unit is this? Hermann Göring maybe?

Hi Hec,

thanks for confirmation. So when Iam right, these four men are Luftwaffenofficers in tank units. Nothing to do with real airplanes?! Just normal tank soldiers.

Nothing to do with airplanes, they were land units of the Luftwaffe and fought like any other Heer or Waffen SS unit.

best,
