Caption of Folttmann_maybe.jpeg said general was listening to Hitler's declaration of war on Greece on 6.4.41. Could it be GenMj Josef Folttmann?

The other pic was Herbert Loch in the middle. Who was on the left? Hans Schmidt?

Cheers
Freiherr

Hi E.

Yes the seller (needfulthings...) offers some rarities. A pic of Gen. Hauenstein (above) and a pic of Gen. Weidenthal (below). The bad thing is ... we both know generals bearing these names didn´t exit. I found the "Weidenthal" pic extremely interesting. I guess and do hope that it is either

-) Gen. Maj. Alfred Weidemann, a very elusive OKH/OKW General, also a "Bridgend General", heading the Abt. Ersatzwesen (OKH) and later the Amtsgruppe Ersatzwesen (OKW)
-) Gen. Lt. Walter Weidinger, the most elusive Army Flak inspector

I have edited the 2nd pic ("Weidenthal").

I don´t have pics of both to compare but my money is on them.

Regards!

I think gen_find10.jpg was Scherer without his beard.

Who was the general next to v. Rundtstedt. Picture taken before 01.07.44 as v Rundstedt had no EL.

Cheers
Freiherr

Hi Freiherr,if picture is taken in Croatia it is not G der Inf Rudolf Lüters (Cmdr German Tps Croatia)

Also not any of the Cmdrs of the 373rd(Croat) Inf Div
GL Emil Zellner-no KC
GM Eduard Aldrian-no KC
GM Hans Gravenstein-no KC

Or Cmdrs of the 369th (Croat) Inf Div
GL Fritz Neidholdt-no KC
GL Georg Reinicke-no KC

Therefore as both Divs Home station is in WKR XVII it looks like G der Inf Albrecht Schubert

Thank you both Valdis and Harmel. I think you are right wrt to Schubert.

Here is one that stumped both Jürgen and me. Could it be a "K" and not an "R". I can't find a GenLt with a "R" that fit the word. How about Walter Keiner? There are the mysterious words v Schwerin at the bottom of the back of the picture. v Schwerin did not have an RK but appeared in another picture.

Cheers
Freiherr
