An SS-Haupt- or Obersturmführer seen in the background wearing a uniform of a stug unit. Maybe Roehder? Any other suggestions?

from http://www.specialcamp11.fsnet.co.uk/
the ss leader in the background is karl-heinz boska, picture made in normandy 1944, at this time boska was adjutant to paul hausser. i´m 100% sure.
more pictures of boska and this day in normandy can be found in wegman: ritterkreuztraeger. panzertruppe, vol.1, biblio-verlag, bissendorf 2004.

Iwan~

I too think that's Buchner- facial features and all visible awards (including Demjanskschild) are a match.

Hello

This would be Martin Braun (as far as my memory serves me) but this soldier is not listed in Fellgebiel's book. Can anybody have a look on DKiG recipients to see whether or not he belongs to the list ?

Regards
Denis

This is a pic of General Höhne. The problem is that when I check out at http://www.das-ritterkreuz.de I can't find any General Höhne. There are two men with this last name but one is an Obstlnt and the other one is a Major (see links below).
Could somebody tell me who this General is please?
General der Infanterie Gustav Höhne , RK : Genmaj. 8. ID ; EL : Genlt. K.G. Korps Laux / AHF id

More trouble guys. I have this Heer officer identified as Hans Hossfeld. At http://www.das-ritterkreuz.de there is a man identified as Hans Hossfeld but as a member of the Marine. Am I confused or maybe this man has a special marine uniform? Is this indeed the man identified at this link?:
Hans Hoßfeld , Korvettenkapitän (Marine-Artillerie), RK / EL : M.A.A. 531 ; DKiG : Marine-Btl. "Hoßfeld" (Crimea) / AHF id

Hello again Fangio!

Your 2nd pic is indeed Korvetenkapitän Hans Hossfeld - he was in the Marine-artillerie, which explains the uniform:
