Forgot to post another unknown RKT, actually this is an unconfirmed RKT. Could anybody confirm if this is Hptm Hans Hoffritz RK: 4.9.41 as Fw and Zugfhr 14.(PzJäg)/InfRgt 268?
I'm almost sure this pic was posted before in this forum.

Hi Fangio,
I think that the correct photo of your RK holder would be the one of Axel Bruns.
( http://www.das-ritterkreuz.de/index_sea ... word=bruns)
Here are my reasons to think so:
The man in the photo is young. When Arthur Bruns was awarded the RK he was 43 and the man in the photo is much younger. Axel Bruns was 28 when he got his RK...pretty much the age the man on the photo is.
The shoulder straps on the photo are never the shoulder straps of a Major (which Arthur Bruns was when he got his RK), look at the was it is made. That could be the straps of a Oberleutnant - which brings us to Axel Bruns again.
Taking what I have written above into thought, I have only one answer: The officer in the photo must be Hauptmann der Reserve Axel Bruns.
What do you think?
best,

LW General ID
Possible reads are : "Otto Kav ??" , or most likely "Ottokar .. ??" ; Original request by balsi, page 74.. There is no Lw GenO matching to this photo. Assumption : this should be an actor's card , starring in a german movie (1950s / guess). / AHF id
