The General in your second image could be Georg Jauer.

Dear bake,

The photo that you put on Nov. 22,2005 is Kpt. z.S. (later Konteradmiral) Rolf Johannsson. I have a book called "Das Kreuz" which contains autographs and photographs of Knight's Cross recipients. On page 279,there's a photograph of Rolf Johannsson. That's how I know that it's him!

Sincerely,

Edward

Hi again

The find2 picture posted by Freiherr on April 3, 2005 7.20pm should be the RK Verleihung to Helmut Klimek and Konrad Ellmer.

See :

Hi Denis,

There were three ObFwb/Fwb drinking champagne. Third from left was Ellmer? Do you have a better pic of Klimek? Both were awarded the RK same day. Both served with 14/KG27.

Cheers
Freiherr

Hi Freiherr,

IMO, Ellmer and Klimek are the second and the third guys (based upon the way the DK is located on my other photo of Ellmer at this very same ceremony). The tall NCO at left (first one when viewing) is not one of them. I can't post any picture but I send you some pictures (I don't have any one related to Klimek unfortunately).

Regards
Denis

edit cos wasn't sure who was who originally

Thanks very much Vienna. The guy's handwriting is damn hard to read. I think it was actually Schule für fahnenjunker...so for sure it was Doberitz. In the same lot being auctioned there were also a few pics of Karl Wilhlem Specht. kmdt of Doberitz just before Hitzfeld. But I still can't figure out who the RKT was. The scribbling of OTL xxx was practically at the back of most pictures so the RKT probably wasn't even this OTL xxx.
