Dear Ludger,

your question is more then warrantable. But I only quote Heinz-Peter Würzenthal "Die Generale und Admirale der Bundeswehr", Biblio-Verlag.
On the other hand a legal awarding at that date is according to the meritorious Veit Scherzer impossible.
