Perhaps Oberleutnant Heribert Brands, 11./Infanterie-Regiment 20, DKiG 18-10-1942?

Left to Right:

Druschel, Herman Buckner, Heinz Frank. Druschel was at this point Inspector of Ground Attack Aircraft, I think.

Hi,

I need help identifiying the Das Reich officer who appears as number 32 on the unidentified RKT grid on page three of this topic. He also appears on page 32 of Bruce Quarrie's Osprey book, "The Waffen-SS Soldier".

Thanks,

CAS

This is strange. I swear I posted my answer earlier on. Somehow it disappeared. No, it's Hans Siegler of 5/JgRgt 49, 28 Jg Div. The sleeve badge was that of a Jäger, not Gebirgsjäger.

Cheers
