Hi freiherr,

I tried to make out the name of the first oberst's signature. It seems to be either Rucke or Rumke.

Thanks,
Chris

Who are the two RKTs (also wearing the Cholm Shield) in the last two photos posted by Francois Saez (Nr 5 & Nr 6) (see bottom of the page):

Two pictures from "Luftwaffe - The Illustrated history of the German Air Force in WWII" (Dr John Pimlott).
The first one has been posted (I think) here in this forum. I can recognize Rudel, don`t know who's the General on the right (I'm sure I've seen him several times) and have absolutely no idea of who could the officer on the extreme left be (half of his RK can be seen).
In the second one the caption says it's von Weichs but obviously there's an error, this is GFM Model. The question is who's the man on the left with his RK?

RKT identification - 114. Jaeger-Division?

#1875

Post by Stefano » 16 Aug 2006, 20:55

Hello
can anyone help with the identification of this RKT? He most probably belonged to 114. Jaeger-Division in Yugoslavia in late 1943, but on his shoulder straps one can read (if I read correcly) "P1".
Thanks in advance
Stefano
