Teil 3.jpg lower left hand corner.... It's Karl heinz Jaeger. My Stockert Vol IV just arrived and it had the same picture.

Who was this? Looks a little like Rudolf Witsch but awarding general did not look like Ludwig Müller.

The pic was taken in Dezember 1943 in Russia, (2.SS-Panzerdivision "Das Reich").

Any idea who this could be. I can´t make a bedder version, because it is only a detail from a photo.

Have gone through all pages here this year and was aware that NAFA site is known.

The meeting was - if memory serves - in Saarbrücken.
