I need TOOs at least at platoon level, or better at squad level, of these Italian companies (year is 1942):
- Compagnia Fucilieri, Fanteria (Rifle company, Infantry)
- Compagnia (Fucilieri?), Reggimento San Marco (Rifle Company, Naval Infantry)
- Compagnia (Fucilieri?), Battaglione "M" CC.NN. (Rifle Company, "M" Blackshirt)
The reason is, I have found some 1942 TOOs listing the company totals, but I can't exactly figure out the internal organization.

For 1942, there will be several organizations, depending on theater deployment. For example, the North African "AS 1942" infantry organization will be a reduced company consisting of 12 Squads, 24 LMG, 12 HMG, 12 20/35mm AA Guns, and 12 47/32mm Anti-Tank Guns. Post your questions at the Yahoo Groups "Italianisti" group, and you should get some answers. Arturo Lorioli is the resident Italian WWII Oob/ToE expert there....
Bah - this is for a Battalion...

The one I'm interested in are the Divisione d'Assalto. I'm aware it is somewhat little known so I did not specify it. However a TOO for "normal" leg (not motorized. Balkan area?) infantry company will do as a first approximation.Brad Hunter wrote:there will be several organizations, depending on theater deployment.
With "is" do you mean, is he writing as of today? Because he stopped from answering my Emails last year. Even the slow mail did not come back.Brad Hunter wrote:Arturo Lorioli is the resident Italian WWII Oob/ToE expert there....
Note: yes, he is alive after all. Now I will try to discover when and how I offended him
