I am beginning a new serial "Turkish officers with Iron Cross. I begin with eternal Commander in Chief of the Turkish Armed Forces. I will add other images as soon as find.

Col. Mehmet Cemil Uybadin in National Forces uniform. (1880-1957)
Commander of 60th Division during the Turkish War of Independance.
He was a Turkish Free and Accepted Mason and Bektaschi Dervish. After the War of Independance he resigned from the army and entered into politics. He was elected MP from Tekirdag for 7 terms from 1923 to 1950. In the cabinet of Ali Fethi Okyar who was also a Mason ( 22.11.1924-03.03.1925) he was made minister of Interior. In the cabinet of Ismet Inonu (03.03.1925-01.11.1927)he was made again minister of interior.

During the Balkan wars Major Ali Fuat was the Chief of Staff of the Independent Yanya Army Corps in Greek Front until Nov. 10th 1912. Later he commanded23rd Division until March 1913. Brigadier Esat Pasha (Lt. Gen. Bulkat of Gallipoli) was the commander of the division.
At the beginning of WW1 Lt. Col. Ali Fuat was Chief of Staff of the 8th Army Corps opf the4th Army at the Sina-Palastine Front. During the 1st Canal Expedition he commanded the 25th Division. The division was taken to Gallipoli and stationed at Bolayır. 25th div. was send later on August 1916 to Romanian Front.
During the winter war of 1916-17 he commanded the 5th Division of the 16th Army Corps of the 2nd Army at Murat Region againts Russians.
Col. Ali Fuat commanded 20th Army Corps at the Sina-Palastina Front during Oct, 30th-Dec. 9th 1917 (Gazze, Birussebi,Jarusalem and Jafa battles)
Brigadier Ali Fuat Pasha commanded 20th Army Corrps of the Yildirim Army Group at the Seria, Nablus Battles during the reteat to Haleppo. (Jan. - Sept. 1918)
As Mustafa Kemal Pasha landed on Samsun in May 19th 1919 2oth Army Corps of Ali Fuat Pasha was stationed at Ankara
During the first years of the National Movement Ali Fuat Pasha commanded the irregular national forces at Western Front againts Greeks on June-July 1919. As the National Army was established he was made Commander of Western Front June 1920.

After retiring from the Army the was made the general Director of Turkish State Railways. He nationalized the railway system which was mostly in foreign hands. In the Ismet Pasha Cabinet he was the minister of Comminication. In 1940-43 he was the Turkish Ambassador to Paris. He saved 15000 Jews from the Nazis by giving them Turkish passport.
