Hello Ludger,

Is it possible that his second Christian name was Martin???

Just because I've a Martin Seehaus in my files who was commander from Lager III with KL Esterwegen.

Hello Mike,

according to Klausch, Hans-Peter (2005): Tätergeschichten, S. 178 Martin Seehaus is often mixed up with Ludwig Seehaus (even in: Tuchel, Johannes (1919): Konzentrationslager). But Ludwig is the right one. Both were not related directly to each other.

Hello Ludger,

Thanks for the explanation.
So both men are not identical. Than this probably also means that Martin Seehaus wasn't commander from Lager III at KL Esterwegen??? Or am I wrong???

You`re right Mike: Martin Seehaus was not the commander of Esterwegen III. That was Ludwig Seehaus.

Thanks Ludger, for clearing up this matter.
I already deleted this info in the small writing I had about Martin Seehaus. Now I only have his rank, SS-Ustuf, nothing more.

I even can't find out were I did found that info on Martin but whatever, it was not correct anyway so it doesn't matter that much.

But now I'm getting curious for this Martin Seehaus, do you have anything on him???
Or maybe somebody else who's reading this thread???

Greetings,
Mike
