Interesting....I've not heard of this woman before...what was she in relation to the early NSDAP? Her name does sound familiar and I'm thinking I came across it in Claudia Cooz's book "Mothers in the Fatherland" but I'm not certain.
Please tell us more about this woman. The above picture was from the 1929? Nuremberg Rally. I notice that Hans Frank (future "Uncrowned King of Poland") is in the picture standing directly behind her and he's wearing spectacles (a rather rare photo of him). Thankyou in advance for the info. (Duncan).

Hello,
It's indeed Nuremberg in 1929. Zander was the founder of the Deutscher Frauenorden, the most important forerunner of the NS-Frauenschaft. She also was Reichsfrauenführerin (Reich women leader) from 1931 till 1933.

Zander is subject in the book by Dr.Claudia Koonz.As well as many others,like Gaudia Diehl,Gertrud Scholtz-Klink,Paula Siber,Gettschweski and many more!
