I'm looking for info about SS-Hstuf Heinz Noa.
He was the first chief of Gestapo in Lublin.

July 1932, associated with 4/I/14.SS-Standarte (in Erfurt) assisting
with their financial bookkkeeping
1933-1934, attended 4 semesters of medicine at University Marburg and Jena
29 Oct 1934, army service with IR 17 in Löbau until 12 Oct 1935, Gefr.d.R.
1 Dec 1935, joined Gestapo Münster as Krim Asst i.V.; as part of his police training assigned at some point to Kripo Gelsenkirchen
9 Nov 1936, SS No. 45399
Nov 1937, completed the Krim Komm Lehgrang at Sipo-Führerschule in Berlin-Charlottenburg; and posted to Stapoleitstelle Karlsruhe, Abt III
summer 1938, appointed Leiter, Grenzpolizeikommissariat Breisach/Rh
Oct 1938, appointed Leiter, Grenzpolizeikommissariat Konstanz
9 Nov 1938, commissioned SS-Ustuf
Aug 1939, assigned to SIPO Einsatzgruppe assembling in Vienna for the Polish campaign - went with Kommando Brunner
Sept 1939 - transferred to Kommando Hasselberg in Krakau then to

end Sept 1939, assigned to Grenzpolizei duties at Lezaisk on new Polish-Russian border
Oct 1939, re-assigned to KdS Lublin, Abt III - Referent Abwehraufgaben
Jan-May 1941, Anwärter des leitenden Dienstes in Berlin
20 Apr 1941, SS-Ostuf
May 1941, to Pretzsch and assigned to Einsatzgruppe D - EK 11, later divided in Rumania and Noa then with SK 11a under Paul Zapp
July-Sept 1941, TKführer in southern Ukraine
Oct 1941-summer 1942, continued with the Leitenden Dienst in Berlin
20 Apr 1942, SS-Hstuf
summer 1942, posted to RSHA VI CZ
1943, posted to KdS Reval, Abt IV, Referent Abwehr
Easter 1944, to KdS Breslau, Leiter II F (later IV 3a3) as Dezernatsleiter
"Betriebsspionage"
Jan 1945, Noa with Festungsregiment D in Breslau; fled the city the day before it fell to the Soviet army
May 1945, captured by US troops at Tegau/Vogtland and interned at
CIC Ohrdruf
1946, interrogated in London as part of the investigation into the Sagan
murders (the 50 RAF officers escapers)
1948, denazified in Ludwigsburg and released Aug 1948
postwar: newspaperman in Giessen
1970, sentenced to 7 years imprisonment by Landgericht München I for war crimes with SK 11a - fellow defendants were Paul Zapp (life); Leo von der Recke (13 years) and Georg Möhlmeyer (case put aside)

Does that mean that he was the first leader of department IV with the KdS Lublin??

Acoording to my information he was not Leiter IV with KdS Lublin - only Referent III, Abwehraufgaben. I think that was Abteilung III C at the time.

Thanks for the wonderfull information about Noa, I even didn't expect to see as much as you came up with here. So yes, this is highly appreciated. With this info I can write a nice bio in Dutch language.

It's an old thread but according to the German wikipedia Karl Heinrich Noa died on 24 September 1972 in Kassel.

Noa was serving his prison sentence at nearby Schwalmstadt at the time.
