Penn44 -- Get serious or get lost. Forced prostitution is and was a war crime, and is an appropriate subject for discussion here.

Unlike Germans, the Japanese didn't leave much documents or evidences of their war crimes. So this materials can be one of evidences that can prove Japan's war crime.

The posting of arbitrary images of alleged condoms is not relevant.

Penn44, if you don't have nothing to contribute to the forum except such a remark, you had better keep silent.

* I provided the source of the image. And the administrator of that site is a Japanese, not a Korean or a Chinese.

Never did I deny that forced prostitution is a war crime. It most certainly is. The posting of an alleged condom used in an alleged war crime without substanting evidence that links the said particular condom to a specific war crime is simply frivilous.

Check out the website from which the image comes from. An anime doll with an assault rifle? Good God please. Have we sunk this low to admit this kind of evidence into consideration?

The administrator of that site is a Japanese right winger. He made that site to ridicule Koreans and Chinese. If you can read Japanese, you'll understand what the Japanese guy's intention is.

Penn44 -- If the thread isn't about, or doesn't turn into, a discussion of war crimes, I'll delete it. There are many paths to the truth, including some that are zen.

How accurate is that link? : Source: http://www.horae.dti.ne.jp/~fuwe1a/newpage51.htm

It seems a weird site with all those dolls.

The testimony of comfort women is relevant evidence. A photo of a condom allegedly used, unless it can be linked to a specific incidence of forced prostitution, however, is not reliable or revelent evidence. If anything, the consideration of such alleged evidence distracts away from the testimony of the women.

The form of the condom proves that Minegish's description of Japanese condoms was accurate in the above book.

Another book mentioning Japanese condom published in December 30, 2001

'나눔의 집 일본군 위안부 역사관을 찾아서 ' (Visit to the House of the Former Japanese Comfort Women)

Image

This book also describes the form of condom with Dotsugeki Ichiban (突撃一番).

The testimony of comfort women also proves that the condom posted by me is a genuine one. They all testify that Japanese soldeirs used condoms marked with Dotsugeki Ichiban (突撃一番).

Kim:

Are you suggesting that this image of an alleged, used Japanese condom is the "smoking gun" to prove the crime of Japanese use of forced prostitution'?

In the scope of things, a used condom proves nothing unless it is linked to a specific crime, and the dubious nature of the website does not lend much credence to the author's suggestion that this particular condom was used in a crime.

We end up with one big, "So what."
