Hi Edge,
I’m looking at a number of photographs of the weapon in question. It is the 9cm gun less barrel (note the barrel is only about twice the length of what is visible in Jos’s shot.
On what information to you make the statement “This lafette looks rather small for 9cm piece...”?
Please look at a photo of the gun named. Given your location I’m surprised you don’t recognise it.
Jon.

My comment was based on:
1) Ignorance - I don't have a good photo of 9cm gun you mentioned + my tech data is at home.
2) Experience - I was number of times next to Skoda 7cm K10 naval gun (see photo attached) - it is approximatelly the same size as gun on photo.
I wasn't not trying to be a smart ass, just made a simple comment.

Found data for Vz.12/20: Barrel length 4050mm (L/45), weight in action 6500 kg (from Ian V. Hogg).
(Hmm, that sounds like a big gun to me)
One photo from Italian site for M.12 ("9cmLFA45M12M16" found somewhere here: http://www.moesslang.net/kanonen.htm ) - based on the size of 90mm ammo shown, it could be the gun we're talking about (of course, WWI ancestor).

Hello
I have not any knowledge about this gun, but i suggest looking at navy related items.
It seems to be quite a few parts missing on that gun, a shield ?, and the barrel etc.etc.I
dont think 90 mm is right either.
Just to get the idea what i think about ill add two links.

Guys,
The 9cm M12 originally designed by Skoda in 1919 was revised in 1920 and then sold to Jogoslavia, Rumania and Russia. The statistics you are quoting (Hogg) comes from the German captured Russian version 9cm Flak M.12(r) which had the 4meter barrel and a different buffer. Look at the photo Jos posted – the Rumanian PL vz.12/20 and his original post, it is the same gun.

So Vz.12/20 is probably revised K12/K16 Naval gun? Sounds OK for me.
Yugoslavia purchased only 83,5mm Vz.22 Hv. AA guns from Skoda (used only on Navy vessels - one light AA cruiser, one big destroyer, two auxiliary ships)
However, Yugoslavia used also a lot of inherited Austrohungarian naval guns - so probably 9cm guns mentioned were K12/16 naval guns used for AA role, not Vz.12/20.

Hi Edge, tks for that picture of the K10 naval gun. The Dutch Navy used the similar K12:

Does anybody have more info on the K12?
Kind regards,
