Extract of Militaerpass 2nd Seebataillon,

showing that the original owner sailed on 17/12/1897 with the steamer 'Darmstadt' from Wilhelmshaven to Kiautschou, where he arrived on 26/1/1898 ( journey of 40 days)
He returned with the steamer Darmstadt to Germany from Kiautschou on 17/4/1899, arriving at Wilhelmshaven on 26/5/1899.
He ha stayed at Kiautschou 1 year, 2 months and 21 days.
