Deutschbrasilianer & German Africans...
Hello,
Lately i've been doing a fair amount of research into the old German overseas colonies and as well German settlers in South America.
Can anyone provide me with information regarding whether or not Germans from the African colonies or from the settlers in South America answered Hitler's call and fought in Europe against the "Allies."
It would be most appreciated.

Hi Ultima (or anyone else who may know),
As Dan said, I'd be keen to hear any more about these troops especially the ones from German East Africa and South West Africa. Names, dates of joining, what units they served in, what happened to them, anything like that would be appreciated.
Cheers
Chris

Hi Dan
Hans Bauszus was posted to South West Africa 21.3.1898 and he served as Adjutasnt der hauptquartier der Kaiserliche Schutztruppe Südwest-Afrika and he then served as District Chief in Rehoboth and as head of the Remonte Ankaufskommission Südwest Afrika until 1919 He later served as SS Brigadeführer in the Kolonialpolitischesamt der NSDAP.
