Aug 40-Oct 40-Served at the Navy Depot Calais
Oct 40-March 41 -U Boat Trg
March 41-Oct 41-First Watch officer U 566
Nov 41-U boat Commanders Course, 24th Flotilla
30/Nov 41- Cmdr U 10 till 22/6/42 as Oberleutnant
June 42-July 42-Trg Course.
Cmdr U 632-23/7/42 till KIA 6/4/43
Boat sank by depth charges from a Liberator W of Rockall
48 died no survivors.Harmel :D

harmel, Hans Karpf (commander of U 632) was my grandfather. do you have any other information about him? many thanks
