Filling colours are missing, but I hope I'll do it pretty soon.

EDIT:
@Semenov,
you are correct, with the name.
I have taken two times (here & another board) my one step before version.

Sorry, my drawing program is at the moment like the worst pain in my ass.
It's going to drive me nuts. (I have to eleminate the black dots in the 4th & 8th
squadron of the W-Gru "Aserbaidschan". (As a part stayed with the Osttürk. W-Vbd. d.SS (weak btl.) it is not sure if two full btls/W-Gru were formed with the Kauk. W-Vbd. d.SS)

Just 2 side-steps:

a.) Major/Oberstleutnant Bergen (a.k.a. Pipgorra)
Major Bergen was one of the worst talented ..... commanding officers within the eastern troops.
He was successor of Major Mayer-Mader in being CO of the Turk.Inf.Btl. 450.
He was first commanding officer of the W-Gru. d.SS "Turkestan".
And he was successor of Dr. Doll (after his death) in being CO of the Kalmyken-Kavallerie-Korps.
In August 1942 he was Major (CO/Turk.Inf.Btl. 450).
In October 1944 he was still Major (CO/W-Gru. d.SS "T")
In end-December 1944/January 1945 he was Oberstleutnant (CO/Kalmück.Kav.K.)

b.) Generalmajor Sarkissjan, Vardan
I have NO information of him being member of the Waffen-SS, therefore CO of the Waffen-Gruppe d. SS "Armenien" within the kauk. W-Vbd. d.SS.
In my sources he was "only"chief of the Armenian Liaison Command.
He was a Major and CO of a Regiment within a kazakian Division of the Red Army.
One of his ancestors was the -in German language- Katholikos Krimjan Mkrtič I.

Sarkissjan and Kononow were the last foreign ethnic soldiers in the German Forces who gained a General-rank.
For Sarkissjan it was the 01st April 1945. The date of promotion of Kononow varies al little bit. Either 01st March 1945 or also 01st April 1945.

Waffen-Gruppe had regimental level. (with I./W-Gru. & II./W-Gru.)
I can't say size, because the kauk. W-Vbd. d.SS had at its peak about 4800-5000 men. The osttürk. W-Vbd. d.SS had at it's peak 8500 men.

I do know only 8 tatarian Schuma-Battalions, in my sources the Nr. 155 is missed.
Even in the so-called Tätigkeitsberichte of the SSPF Taurien Nr. 155 is missing.

In my sources it is said SS-Staf Harun el-Raschid-Bey -as his official name was since 1917; he didn't use his christianed name- was taken from CO of W-Vbd. d.SS "O"; nevertheless some orders are existing till April 1945 which show his signature as CO e.g. the ceasefire with Italian partisans after 26th April 1945.

In my sources his name is given as Fürst (=Count) Šalikašwili, Dimitrij (Dima).

I agree with Jarek and Askold,

This is done just wonderfull. For sure it clears up a lot of things and it gives more inside information as well about these 'obscure' units. I'm more then gratefull Michi made a thread about it all.

Thanks Michi(and all the others for additional info),

Thanks Gents!!

I have overhauled once again my OoBs, with the newest informations.
Informations, not from me, are written in italics.
(again, I have seen some infos are missing)

Once again, I have no hints that Vardan K. Sarkissjan had ever a SS-rank.
I have him being an Oberst and from 01. April 1945 being Generalmajor.
Matter is yet Major Dimitri Shalikashvili. He was in Georgian Legion (Heer), but I dont know, if moved to Waffen SS.
The deployment of a Georgian SS-Cavalry-Regiment started in September 1944 under Colonel (Waffen-Standartenführer) Culukidze(Tsouloukidze) and his deputy Major (Waffen-Sturmbannführer) Šalikašwili.
I have read again my sources; AND I HAVE TO SAY Jarek, you wrote it correct; I have him also only as Major.
In difference to the named officers, who served in the french, or in eastern foreign armies, was the CO of the Waffen-Gruppe „Turkestan”, Sulam Alim, only a NCO in the Red Army.

Has anybody of you the name Sulam Alim???
For me it sounds like Gulam Alimov, but he didn't command a complete W-Gru.

Desertation of one battalion of the osttürkische Waffen-Verband:
Which battalion did desert??
One of the Waffen-Gruppe „Turkestan” or one of the Waffen-Gruppe „Krim”??
3a) Osttürkische W.V - CO from 20.09.1944 Staf. Wilhelm Hintersatz. Was taken post in 30.12.1944 after mass desertion of soldiers from Waffengruppe "Krim” under W-Ostuf. Gulam Alimov to Slovakian partisans. From 1.01.1945 CO (in Verfügung) was SS-Stubaf. Josef Fürst
According my sources, the Waffen-Gruppe „Krim” became part of the osttürkische Waffen-Verband only from February 1945. Successor of the deserted W-Ostuf Alimow, Gulam, was W-Ostuf/Hstuf Nazarow, who had held also a commanding position in the 1. Ostmuselmanischen SS-Regiment from January 1944.

Hi everybody!!

Thanks for these posts!

By my information:

On my opinion Sarkis Varduni is a pseudonim of Vardan Sarkissian... This is a same person.
Waffen-gruppe SS "Armenien" served not over 550 Armenian legionaries.
A member of this formation remembered that the commander of 1st Cavalry Co was Nubaryan Misak.
He told me, that an Anti-tank unit was joined to Waffen-Gruppe on April 1945.
Vardan Sarkissian was "A General of Armenian united liberation army".
Than he told me, that the German command on march 1945 decided to reorganized the Waffen-gruppe to an Armenian Brigade, but the war was over.

Ardashes Abegian was a coordinator of Armenian National Committee until the spring of 1943.

Than i find that on march 1945. a part of group of Oberst Tigran Bagdassarian was join to WG "Armenien", but by the archive materials, Tigran was captured by Americans in the end of war with a little part of his military group.
